Running
It started with a race and ended with a race. Alyssa’s been a devoted distance runner for almost 20 years! And even though she had to slow it down a bit (OK, a lot!) during her treatments, she was still able to exercise throughout her arduous medical course and was caught on more than a few occasions doing her daily hour “power walk” on the treadmill in the Bone Marrow Unit during her treatments…just goes to show, you can’t keep a good girl down! :)

Hot Yoga
Hot yoga, otherwise known as Bikram yoga, is one of Alyssa’s newer favs—especially on a chilly or rainy day when it’s just not as fun to be outside. Just make sure to bring a towel and lots of water…it gets a little “warmish” in there!
