Scan time!! :)

Hello all! Anyone have an ark we can borrow?? Just kidding, but for those of you not in the southeast, you may have heard we’ve had a little bit of rain down here. Just goes to show how quickly things can turn around. It wasn’t so long ago that we were in a major drought and would have thought this rain was a gift from God. I guess it’s a good example that it’s all about perspective and that sometimes what we would label a blessing in one context we turn around and label a curse in another… hmmmm.

In La Jolla for the day after our detox was done

Anyway, Neil and I just got back from our detox trip at the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA where the weather is always amazing. Some of you may be familiar with Dr. Deepak Chopra. He and Dr. David Simon have a center out there that offers a variety of programs focused on health and well being. Neil and I both attended their Perfect Health program that is based on an ancient practice of medicine called Ayurveda. We had a wonderful time and I could tell you some pretty funny stories but I will spare you the details and just tell you that the experience was transformational on many levels. At one point Neil looked over at me and I had a big smile on my face and he smiled and said “What are you smiling about?” and I said “I’m smiling because I got my joy back.” That was worth the trip alone.

On a different and more important note…It’s scan time again! That’s right folks, Monday morning (28th) I have my next follow-up scan sometime between 10:30-11:30a. It’s hard to believe that it is already here and the fact that I keep forgetting that it is, I take as a good sign! We’ll look forward to sharing the good news with everyone when we get the results back and once again humbly ask for your prayers, happy thoughts and good vibes to help seal the deal!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Love to you all,
